Scout

He arrived closed. What he became took time. And it was worth every moment of it.

His Story

He was asked to perform for years. Nobody ever stopped to ask if he was okay.

Scout came to Allesha carrying years of uncertainty. He had been passed from rider to rider before the age of five. Trail horses, lesson horses, steep paths, rocky terrain. Doing the job. Nobody asking how he was doing.

By the time he arrived, he was guarded. Reactive sometimes. Not broken. Just tired of being expected to trust people who hadn't earned it yet.

Allesha didn't push. She just showed up. Consistently, quietly, without an agenda. And Scout began, very slowly, to do the same.

It took time. That's the honest part. Real trust usually does. Through bodywork, natural horsemanship, and a lot of simply being together, he found his way back to himself.

Today he is steady. Curious. The kind of presence that makes the air around him feel a little calmer. He is part of Allesha's herd alongside Ellen and Jack — horses who found their footing in the same place.

What Scout knows now is this: trust isn't something that happens to you. You build it. Breath by breath, choice by choice, until one day you realise you've become it.

His Colours

Scout's Palette

These are the colours Scout returns to most. His palette is a living thing and shifts with each session. These are simply where he begins.

Scout's colour palette

Pale Lemon sparks a quiet clarity, like a window opening. Lime is fresh energy moving through what had gone still. Emerald grounds you back into your own steady rhythm. Sage is the calm that doesn't announce itself. Magenta is a bridge from guarded to open, from skeptical to soft. And Rose the kind of warmth that has to be earned before it's felt.

Everything he's ever created.
