Sofi was orphaned young and placed into the care of a tourist company in the Cayman Islands. She was deemed too small and too strong-willed for trail rides. Left to roam a 10-acre field, expected to fade into the background.
Fading was never her way.
Each day, Sofi climbed through fences — literally — to visit Tricia and her horses next door. For a year, she made the first move. Until one day, Tricia made it back. Sofi was welcomed into the herd she had already chosen as home.
She teaches that healing doesn't always look like stillness. Sometimes it looks like climbing a fence, again and again, until you're finally seen.
She lost her eye. Then she painted joy.
In 2025, Sofi faced a severe infection that cost her an eye. Surgery. Months of recovery. Months away from her herd, away from painting, away from everything familiar.
When she finally returned to the canvas, she was unbridled. Ecstatic. The painting that came from that session was called "Unbridled Joy" — and anyone who watched it knew they were seeing something that went beyond art.
Sofi paints differently now. Slower. Steadier. The work that comes from her carries something deeper than before.

Turquoise clears what's stuck. Ocean Blue brings steady, grounding depth. Aqua offers clarity, like shallow island water. Seafoam is soft release. Teal holds the balance between calm and alive. And White — wholeness, a fresh start.
